Manchester United announces record revenues despite absence from European competitions

Manchester United have announced record revenues of £677.6 million for the 2026 financial year, surpassing the previous record of £666.5 million, despite not participating in any European competition last season.

The club recorded an operating profit of £22.6 million, compared to an operating loss of £18.4 million the previous year. Additionally, adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization rose to a record level of £216.4 million.

Despite the revenue growth, Manchester United ended the financial year with a net loss of £43 million, compared to £33 million the previous year, with results affected by financial and exceptional costs, including the costs of the departure of Ruben Amorim.

The club expects its revenues for the next financial year to range between £740 million and £760 million, benefiting from the team's return to the UEFA Champions League after finishing third in the Premier League last season.
