AC Milan renews interest in Markus Kroos for administrative role

AC Milan continues to work on restructuring its sports management, with the name of German Markus Krösche, the sporting director at Eintracht Frankfurt, resurfacing as a candidate for the position of Head of Football at the Italian club.

According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Milan owner Gerry Cardinale is working on developing the club's management structure with the aim of building a new sports system, and Kroshe remains one of the strong names being considered for this role.

AC Milan attempted to sign Kruse last summer, but the deal fell through as the German official decided to stay with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Sky Germany confirmed last June that Kruse rejected a move to AC Milan, while his contract with the German club runs until 2028.

Current reports indicate that AC Milan have reopened the door for the possibility of signing Kroos, as the management wishes to add a new figure to oversee the sporting side and work alongside coach Ruben Amorim. However, there is no official indication yet of an agreement being reached.
