Details of Al Ahly FC negotiations with Deschamps to coach the team

French media reports have revealed that Al Ahly FC are making serious moves to sign Didier Deschamps, the former head coach of the France national team, to take over the team following Marino Pusic.

French outlet "L'Équipe" reported that Al Ahly FC have made an offer to Didier Deschamps following the departure of Matthias Jaissle, which includes a contract for 3 seasons with an annual salary of €3.3 million.

Al Ahly FC's CEO Fabrice Boukhet attempted to persuade the French coach to accept the role, but his efforts did not result in an agreement between the parties.

L'Équipe has added that Deschamps has rejected the offer from Al Ahly FC, noting that the coach is currently on vacation and does not seem to be a candidate for a new coaching role in the near future.

Al Ahly FC officials continue to explore the coaching staff situation as the club seeks to end Marino Pusic's tenure, but financial aspects remain a barrier to making a decision on his dismissal for now.
