Cristiano Ronaldo: I hope to score my 1000th goal with Portugal

Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken about his future with the Portugal national team and the possibility of participating in the UEFA Euro 2028, confirming that he does not think much about the future given his advancing age.

Ronaldo said: "I am no longer at an age that allows me to think too much about the future. Many of you strongly wish that I do not continue my career, and I know that and feel it from the way you ask your questions." The Portugal captain added: "If the coach no longer needs me, I will leave on the same day, and when that time comes, I will immediately depart from the Portugal national team." Ronaldo concluded his remarks by saying: "But of course, I hope to score my 1000th goal with the national team."
