Flick's absence from LaLiga coaches' photo explained

Hans Flick, the head coach of FC Barcelona, attended a meeting of first and second division coaches held at the Ciudad del Fútbol in the capital Madrid, at the invitation of the Technical Committee of Referees. However, he did not appear in the group photo that included the other coaches.

According to "Mundo Deportivo", Flick had to leave the meeting before it ended, having booked his return ticket to Barcelona in advance, believing that the meeting would finish on time, but it ran longer than expected.

The delay came after Rafael Lozano, the president of the Spanish Football Federation, delivered a lengthy welcoming speech to the attendees, before remaining present throughout the meeting.

The lecture by Exisco Espar, a former handball player and coach specializing in high performance and coach development, ran longer than expected, causing delays in the rest of the meeting agenda.

Thus, Flick's early departure was the reason he did not appear in the group photo with the other Spanish football coaches, despite attending and participating in the meeting.
