Dhafra part ways with Alen Horvat and appoint Patrice Carteron as his replacement

Al Dhafra have decided to part ways with their first team coaching staff led by Croatian coach Alen Horvat, thanking the coach and his assistant team for their efforts during the past period and wishing them success in their future careers.

The decision to part ways came after Al Dhafra's troubled start in the ADNOC Pro League, where the team achieved just one win against four defeats in their first five matches, earning 3 points and sitting in 12th place in the standings.

After hours of announcing Horvat's departure, Al Dhafra have appointed French coach Patrice Carteron as the new head coach of the team, alongside his coaching staff, wishing them success in leading the team and achieving the club's goals during the upcoming phase.

The club has not disclosed the duration or value of the contract with Carteron, who has extensive experience in Arab football, having previously managed clubs and national teams in the region, including Zamalek, Al Ahly, Al Taawoun, Al Ittifaq, Raja, and Wydad.
