Date of Donis' first conference at the Gulf Cup

Georgios Donis, the Saudi national team coach, has announced a press conference tomorrow, Tuesday, to talk about the match against Kuwait, scheduled for Wednesday evening in the opening of the Arabian Gulf Cup 'Gulf 27'.

The Green continue their preparations for today's match on Monday, with a closed training session taking place at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, as part of the final phase of their preparation for the tournament.

The Saudi national team completed its squad yesterday with the addition of Al Ahly FC players after their participation in the Confederations Cup, making the team ready for the opening match.

The squad saw the inclusion of Mukhtar Ali instead of Musab Al-Juwayr, who was removed from the coaching staff's considerations after being excluded for disciplinary reasons, ahead of the start of the Gulf Cup.

All eyes are on Jeddah as the kickoff approaches, with the city set to host the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup from September 23 to October 6, 2026.
