Amorim: I won't repeat mistakes with AC Milan from Manchester United

Rubén Amorim, the head coach of AC Milan, has confirmed that he seeks to benefit from his previous experience with Manchester United, stressing that he will not repeat the mistakes he made during his time with the English club, as he strives to find the best style for his current team.

Amorim said: "I will not repeat the same mistakes with AC Milan that I made with Manchester United," explaining that a coach must be able to adjust his ideas according to the available resources instead of sticking to one way regardless of the circumstances.

The Portuguese coach added: "If we do not have the necessary characteristics to play in a certain way, we must adapt," referring to the possibility of making tactical changes in line with the characteristics of AC Milan players and their ability to implement his ideas on the pitch.

Amorim also spoke about the way of building play, saying: "We will return in the future to building play with three defenders, but we will see." He then praised the coaches in Serie A, confirming: "Here, in Italy, the coaches are very skilled at pressing through individual marking," referring to the tactical difficulties his team faces in Serie A.
