Mbappé relives Zidane memories: it feels like a movie

Kylian Mbappé has recalled his early memories with fellow Frenchman Zinedine Zidane, confirming that the French football legend was present at one of the most important milestones of his childhood, when he took him to Real Madrid and the training ground while he was a youth player.

Mbappé spoke about Zidane, saying: "Zidane was the first to take me to Real Madrid and to the training ground," explaining that this happened when he was thirteen or fourteen years old.

Real Madrid star added: "I was thirteen or fourteen years old at the time, and that goes back a very long way."

Mbappé reflects proudly on his memories with Zidane, especially as their relationship has evolved over the years, with the latter now being his coach with the French national team.

Mbappé concluded his remarks by saying: "Now my coach is with the French national team. It feels like a movie, but it's wonderful at the same time," referring to the irony of his relationship with Zidane starting when he was a child, and now returning to work with him again, but this time within the French national team.
