Atalanta enter the international break with significant questions after suffering their third consecutive defeat in Serie A, following a 2-0 loss to Juventus on Sunday evening in the fifth round of the competition.

Atalanta's start to the season was promising, having secured two consecutive victories over Sassuolo and Bologna, before things quickly changed as they lost to Roma and then Cagliari. The third defeat in a row came against Juventus, leaving them with a total of 6 points.

In the match against Juventus, Maurizio Sarri's team struggled offensively and failed to create enough danger, while the hosts sealed the game with a goal from Francisco Conceição in the 28th minute, before Bremer added a second goal in the 77th minute, leading Juventus to a deserved victory.
