Exchange between Karl and Adeyemi in Germany squad due to load management

Germany have made a change to their squad ahead of UEFA Nations League matches, with winger Karim Adeyemi, a Barcelona player, replacing young talent Linhart Karl, a Bayern Munich player, for the matches against Netherlands and Greece.

Adeyemi will participate in the match against the Netherlands on Thursday in Amsterdam, followed by a game against Greece three days later in Augsburg. Meanwhile, Karl will take Adeyemi's place in the two matches against Serbia on October 1 in Munich, and then Greece on October 4 in Thessaloniki.

The German Football Association has explained that this change is part of a plan to manage the physical workload of players, as the national team is set to play four matches within 11 days.

New coach Jürgen Klopp is using an unusual model during this period, dividing the 44-player squad into two groups, with each group set to play two matches. Originally, Karl was supposed to be in the first group, while Adeyemi joins the second group.
