Lajqi renews Morocco's ambition to host FIFA World Cup 2030 final

Fouzi Lekjaa, the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, has reiterated Morocco's desire to host the final match of the FIFA World Cup 2030, emphasizing that the kingdom will mobilize all its resources to hold the final at the Hassan II Stadium in the Ben Slimane region.

Fouad Lajouad stated during a communication meeting for the Authenticity and Modernity Party in the Benslimane region: "In the Benslimane stadium, we will mobilize all our institutions and all Moroccans so that we can host the final of the FIFA World Cup 2030, whether some like it or not."

The president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation added that the Ben Slimane region will have an important role in the upcoming phase, stating: "The Ben Slimane region, by hosting this landmark, will be the beating heart and the center of development that the infrastructure will experience."

The Hassan II Stadium, set to be built in the Ben Slimane region, is expected to be one of the key venues for Morocco's hosting of matches in the FIFA World Cup 2030, which the kingdom will co-host with Spain and Portugal.

Despite statements from Fouzi Lekjaa, FIFA has not yet determined the stadium that will host the final match, confirming that a decision regarding the location of the final will be made later.

The competition to host the final is between several major stadiums, including the Hassan II Stadium in Benslimane, as well as Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid and Spotify Camp Nou in Barcelona, according to reports circulating about the file.
