Aziz Samadi returns to AS FAR Rabat with a new mission

Aziz Samadi has returned to the forefront at AS FAR Rabat, having been assigned the role of general coordinator of the club, while also taking on responsibilities related to the technical side and coordinating with the media regarding all matters concerning the first team's technical affairs.

The new role grants Al-Samadi a broader presence within the technical system of AS FAR Rabat, benefiting from his extensive knowledge of the club and his previous experience in various tasks related to management, coaching, and training.

AS FAR Rabat previously enlisted the services of Al-Samadi within the technical committee, which undertook several tasks, including monitoring signings, evaluating the performance of loaned players, and preparing technical reports on opponents, in coordination with the first team coach.

In 2022, Al-Samadi served as the assistant coach to the head coach at that time, as part of efforts to develop the coaching staff and elevate the level of the club's academy.

Al-Samadi has a rich history within AS FAR Rabat, both administratively and technically, as well as a player, having defended the team's colors for years. He was part of the generation that wore the Moroccan national team jersey at the FIFA World Cup 1994, and he also participated with the 'Atlas Lions' in the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992.

In terms of coaching, Mohamed Samadi took over the first team of AS FAR Rabat in 2023, overseeing the group during the final stage of the season, leading the team to win the national championship title in his first experience as head coach of the first team.

His new role carries an additional aspect, which involves coordinating with the media regarding files and issues related to the technical side, serving as a link between the coaching staff and various components of the club and the media, especially concerning the first team.

The appointment of Samadi comes as part of AS FAR Rabat's direction to enhance and organize its technical structures and benefit from names that possess deep knowledge of the club. This applies to Samadi, who has previously gone through several stages within the 'soldiers', as an international player, a member of the technical management, and the first team coach, before returning to the club again in a new role.
