Roberto Mancini said during a press conference in Coverciano: "I feel that I owe it to the fans, and I want to regain those who feel betrayed. When a supporter feels betrayed, it is natural for them to be angry, and we must win them back by doing things right and restoring the national team to the place it deserves."

He added: "I am sure that we will achieve something in the next four years, as I do not start any task to lose. There is a need to win, and we must try to do that quickly. I want to win as soon as possible."

The Italian coach confirmed that his philosophy is clear in his new role, stating: "I want us to have a team that dominates, plays well, and always gives its all.
