Salah Mosadek's lawyer announces end of financial dispute with Zamalek SC

Fahmi Belhaj, lawyer of Moroccan player Salah Moussadek, has revealed developments in the dispute between the player and Zamalek SC, confirming that the crisis between the two parties has ended following the payment of the required amount. He stated that the case currently concerns the sports penalty under consideration before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

Belhaj has stated in television remarks: "Practically, there is no longer any dispute between Salah Mosadek and Zamalek SC, and the financial disagreement between the two parties has ended after the required amount was paid."

The player's lawyer clarified that the remaining part of the case concerns the sporting penalty, noting that the file is now before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), and we have informed CAS of our agreement to lift the ban on Zamalek SC, and thus the ban on the club will be lifted.

He added: "We informed the court last June that the financial crisis with Zamalek SC had ended, and the club submitted an appeal memorandum, while the player's response was positive and he showed no objection regarding lifting the ban."

Belhaj revealed the latest developments in the case before the sports court, stating: "Our last communication with CAS was on September 15, and we were informed that the arbitration panel has been formed, which includes only one arbitrator, the Portuguese Rui Poteica, the arbitrator chosen by Zamalek SC."
