Dimarco leaves Italy camp due to injury

The Italian Football Federation has announced that Federico Dimarco will be absent from Italy's upcoming matches, after medical examinations at the Coverciano center revealed that he has not fully recovered from the physical issue he suffered with Inter.

Federico Dimarco has joined the Italy national team camp but underwent medical tests to assess his condition, confirming he is not fit to participate during the current international break.

As a result, the coaching staff led by Roberto Mancini has decided to exclude Federico Dimarco from the national team squad, and he will leave the camp in the coming hours to return to his club to continue his recovery.

In contrast, Roberto Mancini has summoned Matteo Ruggeri, an Aston Villa player, to join the Italy national team to replace Dimarco during the upcoming commitments.
