British court bans Mohamed Salah from driving for 6 months

Mohamed Salah, the star of Trabzonspor, has received a six-month driving ban in the UK along with a financial penalty due to a case involving his Rolls Royce.

According to court documents, a mobile camera recorded Mohamed Salah's electric Rolls Royce Spectre while it was traveling at 36 miles per hour in Wilmslow, Cheshire, against a maximum limit of 30 miles.

The player was found guilty of failing to provide information identifying the person driving the car at the time it was spotted, while the charge of exceeding the speed limit was withdrawn.

The Warrington Magistrates' Court considered the case in absentia, as Mohamed Salah did not respond to the prosecution notice and did not submit a plea to the charge, following a legal procedure known as 'individual justice procedure.'

The court has imposed a fine of £660 on Egypt captain Mohamed Salah, along with £120 in court costs and £264 in additional fees, bringing the total amount due to £1,044.

The incident dates back to March 27, just a few days after Mohamed Salah announced his departure from Liverpool following 9 years with the club, before moving to Trabzonspor.

Despite the ban in Britain, the punishment does not prevent Mohamed Salah from continuing his football activities with Trabzonspor, where he competes in the Turkish league and continental tournaments.
