Officially.. Malen misses Netherlands squad due to injury

The Dutch Football Association has officially announced that Donyell Malen, the AS Roma forward, will be absent from the Netherlands national team during the current international break due to injury, meaning he will miss the team's upcoming matches in the UEFA Nations League.

The federation clarified that Malin, along with Justin Kluivert, apologized for not joining the national team camp due to injury, while reports indicate that Malin's issue is a minor muscle injury.

Xavi has called up Guus Til to replace Malen, along with Mexi Merdink to replace Kluivert, as they join the rest of the squad in the Zeist camp.

Malin's absence comes after a strong start with AS Roma this season, having scored 6 goals in his first 6 official matches, along with providing an assist. Meanwhile, the Netherlands are preparing to face Germany on September 24, followed by Serbia and Greece in the UEFA Nations League.
