Real Madrid has clarified its stance on the refereeing controversy that followed the capital derby against Atlético Madrid, reaffirming its full support for manager José Mourinho, who has become the club's most prominent voice regarding the team's message to the outside.

According to Spanish newspaper "AS", José Mourinho's comments after Real Madrid's loss to Atlético Madrid were not just an angry reaction to the events of the match, but reflect the club's management stance on what they consider repeated refereeing errors during the early rounds of La Liga.

The newspaper clarified that there is complete agreement within Real Madrid regarding the message that José Mourinho conveyed after the derby match, and that the Portuguese coach enjoys the club's confidence to express the team's position on issues related to the first team and refereeing.

José Mourinho expressed clear anger during the post-match press conference, showcasing images of controversial moments, particularly Cristian Romero's challenge on Jude Bellingham and Kang-in Lee's tackle on Federico Valverde, believing that both incidents warranted a red card.

Real Madrid's management, according to what was published by "AS", believes that what happened against Atlético was not just an isolated incident, especially after a series of refereeing decisions that raised the club's concerns during the first seven matches of La Liga.

The newspaper reported that the message that resonated within Real Madrid during and after the match was clear: "They succeeded in taking the team out of the match, and they did not allow us to play."

The club had already begun to convey its position regarding officiating before the match against Atlético, after Real Madrid's official channel discussed the appointment of referee Ortiz Arias to officiate the derby, in a move that reflected the level of caution within the club towards some officiating decisions.
