Leeds reject Calvert-Lewin departure despite Manchester United interest

Leeds United have confirmed there is no intention to part ways with striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, despite reports linking Manchester United with a move for him.

The 29-year-old English forward has been impressive since the start of the season, scoring four goals in six matches across all competitions, which has contributed to his return to the England squad under coach Thomas Tuchel.

According to "Football Insider", Leeds United consider Calvert-Lewin a key element in their long-term plans, and they are not facing any financial pressures to sell the player. His current contract with the club runs until 2028.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin joined Leeds United in the summer of 2025 on a free transfer from Everton, and he has impressively regained his form, scoring two goals in the big win over Newcastle United 4-1, solidifying his presence as one of the standout players for the team this season.

Despite being linked with Manchester United, Leeds United are not planning to listen to offers for the striker in the near future, as the club is keen on keeping him as part of coach Daniel Farke's project.
