Neville criticises Manchester United after "worst 15 minutes" in its history

Gary Neville, the former Manchester United star, has launched a scathing attack on his former team after they drew 1-1 against Fulham on Sunday, in the fifth round of the Premier League.

Gary Neville expressed his anger following a disastrous start for Manchester United in the second half, culminating in a bizarre own goal scored by Lisandro Martínez. The incident occurred after goalkeeper Sin Lammers saved a shot from Calvin Bassey, only for the ball to rebound and hit the United defender, finding its way into the net.

Gary Neville stated during his analysis of the match on "Sky Sports": "I have been watching Manchester United since I was five years old, and this is the worst 15 minutes I have ever seen from them. It was so bad, they walked for 15 minutes, and you get what you deserve in football."

"I have never seen such a lack of effort for 15 or 20 minutes before. What is Michael Carrick thinking? He must not believe what he saw during those minutes, and he needs to intervene now."

Neville had criticized the team before the goal as well, stating that Manchester United players lack sharpness and speed in their movements. He said: "They won't go anywhere with this level of urgency." This was before Matheus Cunha saved his team from defeat with an equalizing goal in the 89th minute, after his shot deflected off a Fulham player and changed direction towards the net.
