Wydad Casablanca finalises foreign player list and leaves 4 out of contention

Wydad Casablanca have finalised their foreign player list for the new football season, after the coaching staff, led by Portuguese Paulo Sergio, decided to rely on five professionals in the official squad.

The squad includes Congolese Joseph Bakashou, Bolivian Ramiro Vaca, Burkinabé Youssouf Daïo, Jordanian Nizar Al-Rashdan, and Congolese Silver Kanuvula, while Beninese Junior Olugbadi has been registered in the hope category.

In contrast, four foreign players have found themselves outside the first team plans, namely Brazilians Guilherme Ferreira, Arthur, and Pedrinho, along with Bolivian Moses Biancagua, due to the limited spots allocated for foreign professionals under the approved regulations.

Wydad Casablanca are currently working to resolve the situation of excluded players, particularly Pedrinho and Arthur, while the futures of Ferreira and Biancu remain open to several possibilities in the upcoming period.

The red club is looking to resolve the issue of surplus foreign players as soon as possible, in preparation for its arrangements for the new football season.
