Cunha: We feel frustrated, and it's hard to explain this

Matheus Cunha, Manchester United's forward, expressed his frustration after his team's draw with Fulham (1-1), emphasizing that the team needs to improve its level from the beginning of matches and not wait to concede goals in order to deliver a better performance.

Matheus Cunha said in statements to Sky Sports: "It's frustrating for us. I feel like we started the match executing the plan we set, and we created some chances, but we didn't score. We were unlucky, and they scored from one attack, and it's hard to explain that."

He added: "After the goal, we played much better and showed a lot of enthusiasm and character. But this needs to be there from the start."

Regarding Manchester United's slow start, Cunha explained: "It's hard to explain that. I feel that after the end of the first half, we always start creating a lot of chances and playing well."

He continued: "At the start of the second half, they played with more intensity than us, and that is something we cannot accept. We always play better after conceding a goal, and it cannot continue like this."

Cunha denied that the problem was solely related to finishing attacks, stating: "I don't think today's match was about the final touch. We were a bit unlucky, as my shot hit the post, and Bruno's shot also hit the post."

The Manchester United striker concluded his remarks by saying: "We need to create more chances and hope that luck is on our side to score. We need to improve in every position of the team."
