Juventus return to winning ways with a brace against Atalanta

Juventus returned to winning ways in Serie A after securing an important 2-0 victory over their visitors Atalanta on Sunday, in the fifth round of the competition, providing a strong response from coach Luciano Spalletti's team following their defeat to US Sassuolo in the previous round.

Francisco Conceição opened the scoring for Juventus in the 28th minute, giving his team the advantage in the first half, before the hosts continued to deal with Atalanta's attempts to maintain their lead.

In the second half, Atalanta tried to get back into the match, but Juventus secured their victory, before Bremer delivered the knockout blow by scoring the second goal in the 77th minute, sealing the three points for the home side.

With this victory, Juventus boosts their tally in the Serie A table and regains confidence after their recent setback against US Sassuolo, while Atalanta suffers another defeat at the start of the season, having also lost to US Sassuolo and Cagliari.
