Sofiane Ben Jeddah prepared for match against Zamalek in the league

Al Ahly's coaching staff, led by Hussein Ammouta, has decided to implement an intensive physical and technical preparation plan for several team members, aiming to prepare them in the best possible way for the upcoming match against their traditional rivals Zamalek, scheduled to take place in the 6th week of the Egyptian Premier League for the 2026-2027 season.

Hussein Ammouta intends to focus more at Al Ahly on preparing Moroccan Sofiane Ben Jeddah, the striker who has not scored in the first 5 rounds and is considered one of the most important attacking elements currently.

Amouta is set to provide intensive psychological and moral support to striker Soufiane Ben Jeddou in the coming period, as he has informed his assistants of his intention to hold a series of individual motivational meetings with the player to prepare him mentally and ensure he is in peak condition ahead of the anticipated derby match against Zamalek.

Al Ahly will face Zamalek on Sunday, October 11, in the sixth round of the Egyptian Premier League at Cairo International Stadium.
