Huijsen puts Real Madrid in trouble in Madrid derby

Dean Huijsen, a defender for Real Madrid, has put his team in a difficult position during the Madrid derby against Atlético, in the ongoing match between the two teams in the seventh round of La Liga, at the Al Riyadh Metropolitano Stadium.

Atlético have been awarded a penalty after a challenge from Dean Huijsen on an Atlético player inside the box, leading the referee to initially show a yellow card to the Real Madrid defender.

The referee reviewed the incident with VAR before rescinding the yellow card and issuing a direct red card to Dean Huijsen, leaving Real Madrid to finish the match with ten players.

Alejandro Grimaldo scored the opening goal for Atlético from a penalty, putting his team ahead in the Madrid derby.
