Mohamed El Shenawy considers international retirement

Ibrahim Abdel Gawad disclosed via "Radio 9090" that Mohamed El Shenawy, goalkeeper for the Egypt national team and Al Ahly FC, is seriously contemplating international retirement.

Ibrahim Abdel Jawad stated that this matter arises due to differences in viewpoints between Mohamed El Shenawy and Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the Egypt national team.

Despite Mohamed El Shenawy suffering an injury after participating in Al Ahly FC's recent match against Abu Qir for Fertilizers, the announcement of the national team list did not mention his exclusion due to injury, which opens the door to the possibility of intentional neglect and a lack of intention to include him.

Egypt national team is preparing to play a match against Angola national team next Friday in the first round of Africa Cup of Nations Qualification.
