Yamal breaks new record in LaLiga
Lamine Yamal, the star of FC Barcelona, continues to write record numbers in LaLiga, having become the youngest player in the competition's history to reach 50 assists, at the age of 19 years and 68 days.
FC Barcelona secured a 3-1 victory over Sevilla, with Lamine Yamal providing two assists to his teammate Raphinha, raising his tally to 51 assists in 159 matches in LaLiga.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", Lamine Yamal has become the youngest player in LaLiga history to reach this milestone, surpassing Brazilian Vinícius Júnior of Real Madrid.
Vinícius has reached 50 assists in LaLiga at the age of 22 years and 298 days, over three and a half years earlier than Lamine Yamal.
Despite failing to score against Sevilla and ending his scoring streak, Lamine Yamal was one of FC Barcelona's standout players in the match, as he consistently troubled the Andalusian team's defense.
Lamine Yamal impressed in his matchup against Sevilla captain Suso, who praised him after the match, describing him as one of the best players in the world.
The FC Barcelona star continues to add new records to his tally, showcasing his form with the team at the start of the season.
