Luis Enrique decides to change competition rules within Paris Saint-Germain

According to "L'Équipe", the start of the season has not been ideal for Paris Saint-Germain, as they drew with Rennes and Lille 2-2, then lost to AS Monaco 1-2, before regaining their balance with a big win over Slovan Bratislava 6-1 in the UEFA Champions League, followed by a victory over Brest with a goal to nil.

Luis Enrique believes that the team's success over the past two seasons may lead to a decline in motivation among some players, which is why he has decided to abandon the idea of having players with guaranteed positions. According to the report, there are no longer any permanently established players or guaranteed substitutes, as everyone must prove their worth to participate through daily work and performance.

The Spanish coach strictly applies this policy by substituting some players at half-time and resting others, even leaving prominent names out of the squad for UEFA Champions League matches. The aim is to keep all team members in a constant state of competition, as well as making Paris Saint-Germain's lineup more difficult for opponents to predict.

Vitinha is the only exception.

According to "L'Équipe", Vitinha appears to be the only player in a different situation, as he is one of the key elements in Luis Enrique's system and a guarantor of the playing style employed by the Spanish coach.
