Gasperini continues his struggle against Inter with 18 matches without a win
Gian Piero Gasperini, the head coach of AS Roma, has extended his negative results against Inter, with the match between the two teams ending in a 2-2 draw, marking 18 consecutive matches without a win against the Nerazzurri.
Gasperini's last victory over Inter dates back to 2018, when he was in charge of Atalanta, and his team won 4-1 in Bergamo. Since then, he has been unable to replicate that victory against the same team.
Before the recent match against AS Roma and Inter, Gian Piero Gasperini had faced the Nerazzurri 17 times without a victory, achieving 5 draws and 12 defeats, including 10 consecutive losses in recent times. The new draw continued this streak without interruption.
Despite continuing their struggle, AS Roma delivered a strong match and took the lead with two goals from Mano Kony, before Lautaro Martínez managed to bring Inter back into the game by scoring two goals, resulting in a draw and keeping both teams unbeaten in the league this season.
