Gasperini after draw with Inter: The match gives us confidence and we did not give up on winning

Gian Piero Gasperini, the head coach of AS Roma, expressed his satisfaction with his team's performance during the 2-2 draw against Inter, confirming that the match gave his players more confidence in their ability to compete against a strong team. He said: "I think the match was balanced, and both teams could have won."

Gasperini added: "Inter's goal at the start of the second half gave them a big boost, but it didn't make us retreat, and we didn't give up on trying to win. This match should give us satisfaction and confidence, especially considering the physical condition and quality we showed."

The coach discussed the difference between the two halves of the match, explaining: "In the first half, we had important spaces and we were dangerous every time we launched counter-attacks. But the goal we scored at the beginning of the second half gave Inter a lot of energy, and on the other hand, it caused us some concern."
