Al Ahly FC officially announces Amr El Gazar's cruciate ligament surgery date
Al Ahly FC has officially announced the date for Amr El Gazar, the team's defender, to undergo surgery on his cruciate ligament, which he suffered recently during his participation with the Red team.
Al Ahly FC stated in an official announcement via their Facebook account: "Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, head of the medical staff for the first team, announced that Amr El Gazar, the team's defender, will undergo surgery to reconstruct his anterior cruciate ligament next Tuesday, September 22, in Munich."
The club added: "The surgery will be supervised by the German expert Christian Brahl, while Al Ahly FC's doctor will travel tomorrow, Sunday, with the player to Germany to finalize all arrangements, examinations, and necessary tests before the surgery."
Amr El Gazar is the second Al Ahly FC player to suffer a cruciate ligament injury this season, joining his Moroccan teammate Youssef Belammari on the team's lengthy absentee list.
