Barcelona's sporting director Deco has announced an agreement to renew the contracts of Raphinha, Marc Bernal, and Xavi Espart during his speech to the club's general assembly members.

Deco has clarified that Raphinha's contract renewal has been agreed, stating: "We have agreed on his continuation until 2030, allowing the first team captain to continue his journey with FC Barcelona for two more seasons."

The sporting director confirmed that the contract renewals for Marc Bernal and Xavi Espart are progressing in the right direction, with Espart tied to FC Barcelona until June 2028, while Bernal's contract extends until 2029.

Sport reported Deco's statements during the general assembly, where he reviewed the club's sports report, confirming that what happens on the pitch is not a coincidence.

Barcelona's sporting director spoke about Marcus Rashford and Robert Lewandowski, who have left the team, praising what the former achieved last season and describing the latter as a club legend and the best striker over the last 15 years.

Deco highlighted the value of FC Barcelona players, which stands at €1.26 billion, including €583 million for players who graduated from the La Masia academy.

FC Barcelona has earned €87.5 million from selling players who graduated from La Masia and did not feature prominently with the first team between 2022 and 2026.
