Aston Villa deepens Tottenham's wounds in Premier League

Aston Villa secured a thrilling 3-2 victory against Tottenham in the fifth round of the Premier League, during the match held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Aston Villa has increased its tally to 4 points, temporarily sitting in 15th place, while Tottenham remains on 2 points in 18th place in the Premier League table.

Aston Villa took the lead through Johan Manzambi in the 4th minute of added time, before Nicolas Jackson added the second goal for the visitors in the 67th minute. Emiliano Buendía then extended his team's advantage by scoring the third goal in the 79th minute with a stunning strike.

Tottenham attempted a late comeback, with Conor Gallagher scoring the first goal for the hosts in the 86th minute, before Jan Paul van Hecke added the second goal in the 90+6th minute.
