Real Madrid considers renewing Valverde's contract

Federico Valverde is currently 28 years old, meaning he will turn 31 when his current contract ends in 2029. Therefore, Real Madrid believes that moving to renew his contract now could allow the club to retain his services for additional years, without directly conflicting with the club's policy regarding the renewal of contracts for players who have surpassed the age of thirty.

This move comes as part of Real Madrid's desire to secure Federico Valverde's future early, while at the same time maintaining the annual renewal policy applied to older players, to avoid reaching the final years of a player's contract before making a decision about their future.
