Sadio Mané invests £15 million in a large agricultural project in Senegal

Senegalese star Sadio Mané has invested around £15 million in a large agricultural project in his hometown of Bambali, Senegal, as part of his efforts to support his country's economy.

The SM10 Agro project aims to develop local agricultural activity, alongside providing around 1,000 job opportunities for residents, enhancing the community's benefit from new investments.

The project will cover an area of approximately 500 hectares dedicated to mango tree cultivation, with a total of 78,000 trees planned, along with plans to establish factories for processing the crops into food products.

SM10 Agro includes a factory for producing mango butter with a capacity of up to 10,500 tons annually, while the plan indicates that the first harvesting operation will begin approximately three years after planting.

Sadio Mané's investments extend beyond production, including the establishment of a specialized agricultural college, alongside a research and development center, aimed at supporting agricultural education and qualifying young people and women.

The project is an extension of Sadio Mané's social initiatives in Senegal, after the Al Nassr player's name has been linked to several projects aimed at improving the lives of residents in his area and contributing to local development.
