Daniele De Rossi, the head coach of Genoa, discussed his team's preparations for tomorrow's match against Parma, touching on several issues concerning his players, including the development of Amorim and Butchka, as well as the situation of Stephan El Shaarawy and penalty-taking options.

De Rossi spoke about Amorim: "He has done a varied job, but he is doing very well. I don't think there are any problems before the match on Sunday, even if he is no longer able to train with the group after the blow he received and was treated for against Sudtirol."

The Italian coach spoke about the development of Pochka, stating: "He is developing a lot and trying to play this role with great application. He is a smart man and is improving game by game. For us, this is a necessity, as we currently have few alternatives in this role."

Daniele De Rossi has explained the possibility of relying on Stephan El Shaarawy in a different position, stating: "We are considering playing him in a different role, also because he is not in his best physical condition yet. With me at Roma, he performed well as a fifth defender, and that could be a solution, but for now we need to reduce his workload to allow him to give his best."

Regarding the identity of the penalty taker, De Rossi said: "We always talk about it, and I think penalties should be practiced in training, just like we do with corner kicks. Against Sudtirol, Baldanzi was the taker, but we prefer not to announce the choice. Colombo continues to take them in training, as does Østigård, who is good at taking them, and Bučka as well. The final decision is up to me."
