Real Madrid completes preparations for Atlético clash
Real Madrid have completed their preparations for the derby against Atlético, having held their final training session in Valdebebas ahead of the match scheduled to take place tomorrow, Sunday, at the Metropolitano Stadium.
Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that José Mourinho will be missing the injured trio Rodrigo, Éder Militão, and Ferland Mendy for the match, as the team prepares to play the derby.
The training session started at 11:30 AM, with players participating in the first 15 minutes of open training in front of the media, where they conducted running and passing drills in groups.
After that, the training doors were closed to the media, allowing Mourinho to fully prepare for the match.
José Mourinho was scheduled to speak to the media after training, but he will hold his press conference at 4:30 PM due to the U20 Intercontinental Cup final between Real Madrid Youth and Santiago Wanderers at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, starting at 1:30 PM.
The main dilemma facing the Portuguese coach is the starting lineup against Atlético, particularly in the right winger position, with a choice between Arda Güler and Diomande.
