Laporta: We aspire to win everything, and Barcelona will remain the biggest club in the world

Joan Laporta, president of Barcelona, opened the club's general assembly today, Saturday, with a speech in which he expressed his optimism about the team's future, confirming the club's ambition to achieve all titles, alongside discussing the strength of Barcelona and the Spotify Camp Nou project.

According to what was reported by the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", Laporta stressed the importance of supporting the team and coaching staff, affirming his confidence in Barcelona's ability to compete in all competitions.

Barcelona's president said: "We aspire to win everything, and I am convinced that if we provide support to the team and the coaching staff, we will achieve that."

He added: "Together we have managed to restore the economic strength of the club, together we defended Barcelona, and together we will continue to build the best club in the world."

He added: "We will not give up, for the love of Barcelona means working daily to be better, there is no room for complacency."

Laporta spoke about the competition in Europe and Spain, emphasizing the need for Barcelona to show courage and the ability to innovate to get ahead of their rivals.

He said: "We must be imaginative and brave to get ahead of our competitors, who are either joint-stock companies, owned by investment funds, or clubs affiliated with countries, and when you need it, the land is reclassified for them and it simply ends there."

Barcelona's president praised the work of Deco and Hans Flick, highlighting the quality of the squad. He explained: "In the dressing room, there is perfect harmony between the players from the La Masia academy and those coming from outside the club. The team is being led wonderfully, and it has been shaped very well thanks to Deco's work."

He added: "We have formed a team that we can say today we aspire to win everything."

Joan Laporta spoke about Barcelona's goals for the current season, stating: "We aim to win the LaLiga title for the third consecutive time, win the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa, and of course, we aspire to win the UEFA Champions League. If we provide them with support, we will achieve that, and I am convinced."

The basketball team has already won the Catalan league title, and hopes this is a precursor to new titles.

He added: "We have 50 titles in the UEFA Champions League, and there is no club in the world that has 50 titles in the UEFA Champions League."

Laporta has reaffirmed the club's commitment to the existing membership model, clarifying that Barcelona's goal in the coming years is to continue achieving victories and maintaining the club's identity.

He said: "The goal for the coming years is to continue winning, to maintain Barcelona as the biggest club in the world, and to continue being who we are, a Catalan club, open to the world, a club that contributes to making the world a better place, and committed to Catalonia and our culture."
