Paladino begins his task with Bologna against Torino after Tedesco's dismissal

Raffaele Palladino begins his new role with Bologna when the team hosts Torino today, Saturday, in the fifth round of Serie A, marking the new coach's first appearance on the bench.

Bologna have sacked Domenico Tedesco after just four matches into the season, having collected only one point from a possible 12, with one draw and three defeats, scoring only two goals, leaving them in sixteenth place in the league table.

Bologna have signed Palladino until June 30, 2029, as the Italian coach takes charge of the team's project moving forward, having previously managed AC Monza, ACF Fiorentina, and Atalanta. The club hopes this move will contribute to improving results and quickly getting out of the relegation zone.

The match against Torino is particularly important for Bologna as it marks the first test for Palladino after taking charge. The club announced the matchday squad, which includes 27 players, among them Riccardo Orsolini, who has returned to the group in preparation for the game scheduled at the Renato Dall'Ara stadium.
