Officially.. Mancini announces Italy squad for the UEFA Nations League

Roberto Mancini, the head coach of the Italy national team, has announced the Azzurri squad in preparation for their first four matches in the 2026-2027 UEFA Nations League, starting with a clash against Belgium on September 25, before facing Turkey twice and France during the upcoming international break.

The list is as follows:

Goalkeeping:

Marco Carnesecchi, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Massimo Bisegna, Guglielmo Vicario.

Defence:

Onest Ahanor, Alessandro Bastoni, Riccardo Calafiori, Diego Coppola, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Federico Dimarco, Daniele Ghilardi, Michael Kayode, Eddie Kwadwo, Gianluca Mancini, Giorgio Scalvini.

Midfield:

Nicolo Barella, Bryan Cristante, Issa Doumbia, Nicolo Fagioli, Davide Frattesi, Rolando Mandragora, Alessandro Romano, Sandro Tonali.

Forward line:

The squad features nine new names receiving their first call-up to the Italian national team, namely Massimo Pisina, Daniele Ghilardi, Michael Kayode, Eddie Quadjo, Issa Doumbia, Alessandro Romano, Sebastiano Esposito, Antonio Vergara, and Mohamed Ali Zouma, at the start of Mancini's second term with the Azzurri.
