Mbappé: Yamal is talented, and Barcelona's start is good for them, and this is my message to the fans

Kylian Mbappé has confirmed that Real Madrid has been working since the start of the season to build the team and prepare for title challenges in the second half of the season, especially with a new coaching staff in place. He also spoke about his teammate Yan Diomande and FC Barcelona star Lamine Yamal.

Mbappé said: "The collective awards at the end of the year are being prepared now. You have to build the foundation of your team, the collective level, the block, and everything. This also applies to us because we have a new coaching staff and a new formation. We are in the process of building our victory for the second half of the season."

He added: "Lamine Yamal? He is a very talented player, and I have a feeling he will have a wonderful career. I wish him all the best, for him, his family, and the people around him."

Regarding Barcelona's strong start to the season in LaLiga: "This is good for them, I don't like to talk about other teams because I'm not there, and I don't know what they are doing. They have won their matches, but the season is just beginning."

Regarding Yan Diomande: "He is at a stage of the journey. Building the relationship between players, building the group. Diomande is part of that at the moment, when he arrived at Valdebebas, we saw on the first day that he has the quality. After that, people talk a lot in matches about the €140 million and these things, he is young, only 19 years old, but the quality is here. We see it, and he has already shown that he has special things, we are trying to protect him, him and all the players in the team, because in the end, we will need everyone. The season is very long, and if we want to compete for all the titles, we cannot compete with just 11 players."

Regarding the Madrid derby: "It’s a match we always want to play. A match that carries a lot of tension. We know that the derby means a lot to the fans of Real Madrid and to us as well.
