Real Madrid continues preparations for Atlético Madrid clash

Real Madrid continue their preparations for the upcoming clash against Atlético, scheduled for Sunday at the Metropolitano Stadium, as part of LaLiga.

According to "Mundo Deportivo", the royal team held their second day of training on Friday in preparation for the derby, ahead of the final session, where coach José Mourinho combined physical training with tactical work.

Real Madrid players began their training session in the gym before moving to the pitch to work with the ball as part of their preparation for the match against Atlético.

The training session saw Éder Militão, Rodrygo and Ferland Mendy continuing to train individually, as has been the case in recent times due to the injuries they are suffering from.

The newspaper confirmed that the trio will miss the Madrid derby, making them the only absences in Real Madrid's squad for the clash against Atlético.
