Xavi announces Netherlands squad for international break

Xavi, the head coach of the Netherlands national team, has announced the squad ahead of the UEFA Nations League matches during the upcoming international break.

The Netherlands national team will play four consecutive matches, facing Germany on September 24, Serbia on September 27, Greece on October 1, and then meeting Serbia again on October 4. The Dutch team is in Group B alongside Germany, Serbia, and Greece.

The Dutch Football Association has announced the appointment of Xavi as the new head coach of the national team, succeeding Ronald Koeman, who left his position after failing to compete in the 2026 World Cup.

Virgil van Dijk comes at the top of the Netherlands list under Xavi, as the Liverpool defender is nearing his 100th international match, having reached 96 appearances with the national team.
