Paladino: I want to bring excitement back to Bologna

Raffaele Palladino, the new head coach of Bologna, has confirmed that his primary goal is to restore enthusiasm and confidence to the team, while working on building a clear identity based on organization and high pressing, following a difficult start that saw three defeats and a draw.

Paladino said: "My goal is to bring back enthusiasm; heads down and keep pushing, we are ambitious. After three losses and a draw, it is important to instill enthusiasm and confidence, and we need to build a clear identity and talk a lot with the players."

The coach discussed the physical aspect, emphasizing that the upcoming break will be an important opportunity for further work. He said: "My goal is the match on Saturday, then I want to make the most of the break, like a training camp, to improve physical condition and manage workloads. Regarding what I ask for, it is important that we have excellent fitness, as we want to press our opponents high on the pitch."

The coach praised the attacking options available to him, specifically Riccardo Orsolini and Federico Bernardeschi, saying: "Orsolini returned partially today, and we will see on Saturday. Together with Bernardeschi, they form a tremendous duo, and I will do everything I can to put high-quality players on the pitch."

Paladino explained that he closely followed Bologna's matches before taking on the role, affirming his confidence in the current group. He added: "I watched a lot of matches, including all of Bologna's games, and studied every little detail of the team. I know many of the players and believe in these guys, otherwise I wouldn't have accepted to coach Bologna."
