Ibrahim Hamdani outlines his new project with Algeria

Ibrahim Hamdani, the new head coach of the Algeria national team, has outlined his vision for the upcoming phase with the 'Greens', confirming that he aims to build a clear and cohesive project from the start, without delving into the details of what happened during the previous period.

Hamdaoui discussed several important issues, including his handling of the dressing room, preparing to face fan and media pressure, as well as the future of the goalkeeper position and the identity of the new captain for the national team.

Hamdaní said: "I have experienced the atmosphere of high-level competition as a player and have participated in major tournaments, so I feel comfortable dealing with dressing rooms and also in working towards achieving big goals and ambitions."

He added: "I will not talk about what happened previously. Regarding the style of play during the World Cup, all coaches face criticism. We will work on presenting a clear playing project from the start, one that aligns with our vision and goals."

The new head coach stated: "We cannot accept this position if we are not ready to face the press and the pressure from the fans. I visit Algeria regularly, and I know the Algerian fans well, and I currently feel a lot of understanding and support."

Regarding the goalkeeper position, Hamdaoui explained that this position was one of the most questioned after the World Cup, emphasizing that the doors of the national team are not closed to any player.

The coach stated that no player has been excluded from the national team, saying: "If Ben Bout is performing well with his club, he will return to the national team."

Hamdaní has settled the debate regarding the distribution of roles within the coaching staff, confirming: "I am the head coach, and Antar will be my assistant, especially concerning the preparation of the list of summoned players. There is no ambiguity regarding our roles."

Regarding the captaincy, Hamdaoui indicated that he has a preliminary idea, explaining: "I have a thought about the captaincy, and I will see the players capable of leading the group and mentoring the young players and helping them, and then we will make a decision."
