Badou Zaki calls up duo from Raja and Wydad for Jordan camp

Moroccan coach Badou Zaki has announced the Jordan national football team's squad in preparation for friendly matches against Syria and Venezuela, as part of the training program for upcoming challenges, including the AFC Asian Cup 2027.

The Jordan national team has called up players active in the professional national league, namely Mohammad Abu Zreik, a player for Raja Casablanca, and Nizar Al-Rashdan, a midfielder for Wydad Casablanca.

The duo is expected to join the Jordan national team camp, which may deprive Raja and Wydad Casablanca of their services during the opening round matches of the national championship scheduled for September 24.

28 players have been named in the Jordan national team squad.

Badou Zaki's squad includes 28 players, namely:

Goalkeepers: Yazid Abu Layla, Abdullah Al-Fakhouri, Alec Samir.

The defense consists of Ahmad Jaidi, Yazan Al Arab, Abdullah Naseeb, Mohammad Abu Al Nadi, Saad Al Rousan, Hadi Al Hourani, Mohannad Abu Taha, Ihsan Haddad, and Ahmad Asaf.

Midfield: Anas Badawi, Nour Al-Rawabdeh, Nizar Al-Rashdan, Ibrahim Saada, Youssef Qashi, Amer Jamous, Mahmoud Shawkat, Sisa.

Attack: Moisés, Mahmoud Mardhi, Tamer Bani Ouda, Ahmad Arsan, Ali Azayza, Ouda Al-Fakhouri, Mohammad Abu Zreik, Ali Olwan.

Syria and Venezuela are part of the preparations program for the Jordanians.

The Jordanian Football Association announced that the national team's preparations will begin on Tuesday, September 22, at the Al Nashama training center, in preparation for two friendly matches.

Jordan will kick off their campaign against Syria on Sunday, September 27, starting at 8 PM, at the King Abdullah II Stadium.

The 'Nashama' will conclude their friendly matches against Venezuela on Tuesday, October 6, at the same time and at the same stadium.

These matches are part of Jordan's preparations for upcoming challenges, including participation in the AFC Asian Cup 2027.
