Xabi Alonso: We need to improve defensively and with time we will achieve balance

Xabi Alonso, Chelsea's head coach, has confirmed that his team needs to improve their defensive side, despite being satisfied with the level the players are showing in terms of attack.

Alonso said: "It is clear that we need to improve defensively, but offensively we are performing excellently. We need to achieve balance, and with time I am sure we will succeed in that."
