Australian coach Ange Postecoglou has granted Al-Nassr players a 5-day break from training ahead of the resumption of collective training next Monday, in preparation for local and continental commitments.

The coach's decision came during the international break, following a heavy defeat for Al-Nassr against Al-Ain, losing four goals to nil in the opening match of the AFC Champions League Elite.

Postecoglou plans to use the international break to reorganise the team and address the technical errors that emerged during the recent match against Al-Ain.

Al-Nassr are set to play a number of friendly matches during the break, aiming to raise the readiness of players who have not joined their national teams.

The coaching staff is also benefiting from this period to prepare local players who have not joined the Saudi national team participating in the Gulf Cup.

The Arabian Gulf Cup 'Gulf 27' will take place in Jeddah from September 23 to October 6, featuring the Gulf national teams.
