Real Madrid begins preparations for derby clash
Real Madrid have begun their preparations for the clash against Atlético, returning to training today after a break following their tough win over Elche earlier in the week.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", José Mourinho has entered training with all his players ready, except for long-term injured players Éder Militão, Rodrygo, and Ferland Mendy, who are expected to be the only absences against Atlético on Sunday, unless there are any developments.
The remaining Real Madrid players took part in a training session focused on physical and tactical aspects, with special attention given to the players who participated for long periods during the match against Elche.
Real Madrid will hold three more training sessions before heading to the Metropolitano Stadium on Sunday afternoon to face Atlético ahead of the international break.
